I've never recorded anything by myself, but I've seen producers tinker around with their programs with some studio time I've done. I'm not familiar with any programs though.
I've been playing guitar for about 7 or 8 years now, I've got two 6 strings and one 7 string (<333)

ps: What's an Impulse ?

Firstly, glad to have you here! Secondly, send me some cool riffs so i can experiment! (you said 7 years Twisted Evil )
Thirdly (lol) i LOVE CANADA!

An impulse is the last gear in your guitar chain that your sound is coming from.
An impulse is not a tubescreamer neither a head amp, its a cabinet Wink

Hmmm, okay, so if it's a cab, then I assume that the Poll for "Your favorite impulses" is for virtual cabs, yes ?

exactly. its the company that created them.

GuitarHacks and Catharsis are free.
Recabinet and Redwire are paid.

As you can see free ones are taking the lead hehe
