For those of you who insist on using Guitar Pro 5 for a quick drum editor (like me ,hehe) here's the key mapping when playing drum tracks on Superior Drummer 2:Metal Foundry (I'm sorry if it has any mistakes, I just finished it)

Cowbell 56,76
Sticks: 67

Snare:
Rim:37,71
Drum Roll:39
Double Hit:69
Weak (ghost hit):33
Normal:6,38,66,68,70
Rimshot:40

Kicks:
Right Kick:34,36
Left Kick: 35

Hi-Hat:
Closed Hi-Hat to fully open Hi-Hat [in ascending order]:11-20(15 is semi-open Hat)
Open Hi-Hat:7-9,15-20,46,60
Ghost Open Hat:23
Closed Hi-Hat:22,24-26,42,61,64
Pedal Hi-hat:10,21,44,62,63,65

Cymbals:

Splash:55
China1:27
China2:52
Spock:29

Ride><:
Normal:86,91,98
Very Soft:87,92,96
Soft:84,89,96
Soft Bell:88,93
Bell:85,90,97

Ride1:59
Soft:51
Bell:53

Cymbal1:28 Stakato hit:83
Cymbal2:49 Stakato:54
Cymbal3:30 Stakato:94
Cymbal4:31 Stakato:95
Cymbal5:57 Stakato:58
Cymbal6:32

Toms:
(sounds for each tom are kind of identical except for the stakato hits)

Racktom1:1,48,50,81 Stakato hit:82
Racktom2:2,47,79 Stakato hit:80
Racktom3:3,45,77 Stakato hit:78
Floortom1:4,43,74 Stakato hit:75
Floortom2:5,41,72 Stakato hit:73

With it you can turn GP5 into a decent drums editor. Bear in mind though that most of these keys are associated with different or no sounds at all in GP5 so don't expect to hear the drum track correctly until you load it on the Metal Foundry. Enjoy and experiment!Live and prosper!

Cool thought nice post mate Cool

Could you make a tutorial on how to use the above you just mentioned? I mean...
How to to use Guitar Pro and Superior Drummer simultaneously.

If you can do it go for it! If you cannot please let me know!

I have to admit that making video tutorials isn't my strong suit...But in general the process is fairly simple: Open your guitar pro tab and delete all non-drum tracks. Then Choose File-->Export-->Midi and save the midi file somewhere in your hard drive. Exit guitar pro without saving , or else you'll lose the other tracks you deleted (it might be a good idea to create a backup file before doing this just to make sure). Then import the midi file you created into your DAW and load the SD2 plug-in on it. Voila! However if you want to edit your drum track while inside your DAW you'll have to use some other drum editor (I don't know if that's what you mean by "simultaneously").

I always was doing that when I wanted to record some covers. It's the nice way to get all drums from a GP file. But I noticed that it is good for EZ drummer and maybe for Superior Drummer 2.0, because it's the same brand product. For Addictive drums you must to get a mini program which is called MidiFileMapper. The program redraws (exports) midi notes into Addictive Drums.
